Louise set up Reid Cooper with Jim in 1998 creating a niche firm acting for Insurers, Lloyd's Syndicates, Claims Management organisations and the self-insured.

Louise is a qualified Solicitor Advocate entitled to appear in the Court of Session and before the House of Lords.

In the course of her career Louise has worked on a variety of significant and sensitive cases for organisations as diverse as Local Authorities and Building Contractors.

She is a member of FOIL (Forum of Insurance Lawyers) and a Council Member of the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow.  Louise is also a Tutor in Business Ethics, Finance and Practice Awareness on the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at Glasgow University. She is a keen golfer, currently playing off a handicap of 13.
